General
Moquegua department , 5,900 hectares.
Tertiary volcanic and intrusive rocks.
Cu veins and conceptual Cu Manto targets.
Exploration works
156 chip/rock samples (or 231 chip/rock samples, ?) and 12 soil and 13 stream samples.
Exploration potential large epigenetic, polymetallic (Cu(Ag-Pb-Zn) bulk tonnage deposit
Five zones, located in the northern part of the property were identified; Cumbre Coya, Cobremani, Maricate, Fundicon and Huancune zones
Mineralization; NE structures, quartz-carbonate veinlets (<1 cm wide); tectonic breccia;
Most zones are reported less than 30 m in width.
Erratic Mineralization.
Results:
Cumbre Coya Zone (Cu-Ag-As-Pb-Zn)
north-northwest trending copper-quartz veinlets discovered within an area measuring 100X150 m.
Assays <1.65%Cu, 880 ppm Ag, 4.6% Pb, 0.62% Zn.
Cobrenani Zone (Cu-Ag-As)
Several old adits, open cuts, dumps, quart=copper veinlets (< 1 cm in diameter),
Mineralization sporadic over a strike length of 100 m.
Assays </=12.0% Cu, 169 g/t Ag, low Pb-Zn, no gold.
Maricate Zone (Cu-Ag-As)
(2 ) two Cu-Pb-Zn showings, some old Spanish underground workings, galena and chalcopyrite mineralization hosted within andesite volcanic rocks.
Mineralization consist of quartz-copper veins (<1 cm wide) occupying an N50degree shear zone.
Assays </=11%Cu, 119g/t Ag, 12% Pb and <1.0% Zn.
Fundicon Zone (Mine)
Six (6) old adits driven into <0.4 m wide copper vein zone hosted in andesite volcanic flows.
Uranium hosted within Mesozoic sandstones.
Huancune (Cu-Ag)
Small open pit exposes a narrow quartz-carbonate vein hosted within unaltered andesite volcanic rocks .
Return up to 3.8% Cu and 12 g/t Ag.
